About Us

Our goal is to service the Panhandle drive to protect Life from Conception to Natural Death.  We have committed individuals who are eager to run for people who can not.  Through their physical efforts and prayers, they will help promote the issue of life. They will sacrifice their time and efforts to run in relay form for over 200 miles.

Run for Life history

The Knights of Columbus under the guidance of the Florida State Council have promoted for 24 years the "Run for Life". The Run for Life is an annual event that begins in Homestead Florida and ends nearly 350 miles and 9-days later at the Cross of St. Augustine. The Run for Life group started another trek in 2007 called the West Coast - Run for Life that begins in Marco Island, Florida with the goal to eventually cover roughly 340 miles at the St. Augustine Cross. At the end of the 9-day event a memorial mass is held at the Chapel of Our Lady of La Leche.  Now for the third year we are again having the Panhandle Run for Life. This year we are running (200 miles) from Pensacola to Tallahassee and travel to join the other two runs at St. Augustine.

RUNNERS NEEDED to run Feb. 24 - 26 any amount and join anywhere along the route.
